About

By the year 2020 the number of elderly people in the world 65 and older will exceed the number of children 5 and under for the first time in all of human history. This creates new challenges for society in how we care for and define the experience of our elders.
We're focused on the use of new wearable technology to help answer these challenges. Our goal is to allow our elderly the freedom to explore and live fully, while enabling us to provide better person centered care.
upBed is our first product focused on bed exit alerts. It's worn by the resident and silently alerts the caregiver when they wake up via their smartphone.
